On Saturday, August 26th, a group of around 50 people, including Paul Rianna Rhode Island State Coordinator, Kara Tibbetts, and Adom Barlow Young Adults Coordinator, organized a protest called “God’s Children Are Not For Sale” at the Rhode Island State House. They marched to City Hall and around Kennedy Plaza, carrying flags and signs. During the march, a woman joined them and bravely shared her own story of surviving sex trafficking. The event was memorable for everyone involved and brought attention to the issue of child trafficking.
