I am Leslie Williams, National Secretary of the Independent American Patriots.
I am from Washington State.
I am a mom of 9 kids, with 4 still at home under 7 years. I am a housewife, which as many of you know is not an easy job. Cooking, cleaning, and raising the children are endless tasks. On top of that, my husband and I have a small homestead that we are working to be as self-sufficient as possible right now by raising animals, gardening, and preserving our family food. I also homeschool our 4 children all of this put together adds up to multiple full-time jobs. My husband and I also have monthly town halls where we teach self-sufficiency and talk about current laws and legislation that can affect our area and our town hall PMA.
Along with everything else I do in my personal life is my business life. I am the Secretary of the IAP, and I am the Eastern Washington Coordinator of the Conservative Ladies of Washington.
The Conservative Ladies of Washington are very active in fighting the Washington State Legislature. I spend hours every evening after the kids go to bed reading bills, writing about the bills, and then testifying in Olympia for or against those bills.

In the Independent American Patriots, we encourage all our members to get involved. We have town halls. These town halls are where you can gather in your individual states, counties, cities, towns, and neighborhoods. Wherever you feel you can make an impact and start doing something.
It doesn’t have to be political, but we always encourage everyone to go to your city council meetings, county commissioner’s meetings, school board meetings, etc. Find out how things are impacting you and your area. Speak your mind and make a difference in your community.
It can be as simple as cleaning a park or helping some local homeschool co-ops. Does your community need a place where they can come together and grow food for themselves, how about starting a community garden? Are there small differences that you can make in your community to be an example of what Independent American Patriots stand for?
We encourage all our members to get prepared NOW! We are in challenging times in our country.
Gather your friends and your neighbors and figure out what you can do to better your situation and your community.
Become an Independent American Patriot Town Hall Leader. Show people what the meaning of what community really is.
We know that many of you are doing great things out there and we would love to share your work with the world. We encourage you to write about how you are helping your community. Send us pictures and videos and we can use them to help others make a difference in their communities.
