Purpose
The Ratification Convention will serve as the platform for all paying members to formally approve the governance documents finalized by the leadership. These documents, including the Charter of Rights, Bylaws, Ordinances & Expectances, and Articles of Association, embody the Three Patriot Pillars: Calling of Independence, Tenets of Liberty, and Doctrine of Governance. This event is a critical milestone, establishing the framework for our organization’s future operations and member engagement.
Significance
This convention is not merely a procedural step but a historic moment for IAP PMA. It represents the collective will of our members to restore and preserve the principles of our Founding Fathers through self-sufficiency, preparedness, and civic duty. As outlined in our mission, we aim to equip members with the tools and resources to strengthen traditional American families and communities https://www.independentamericanpatriots.org/
Organizational Context
The IAP PMA is a private membership association dedicated to preserving the independence, liberty, and traditional values of American patriots. For 25 years, it has evolved from a public political movement to a private association, drawing inspiration from the Founding Fathers’ assemblies. The governance documents being ratified reflect this evolution, emphasizing:
- Self-Sufficiency: Encouraging members to develop resilient communities.
- Civic Engagement: Promoting participation through private Town Halls and voting rights.
- Founding Principles: Upholding limited government, individual liberty, and community resilience, as per the Three Patriot Pillars.
The Charter specifies that major decisions, such as document ratification, require a two-thirds membership vote at a Members Convention, underscoring the importance of this event. The Articles of Association further articulate the mission to equip members for restoring independence through education and resources.
